Ranch Dip

Ranch Dip

When you’re out of fresh herbs – then you look and you’re out of the Ranch Seasoning packets – this is a good back-up recipe.

This is a really quick and easy recipe.  It consists of ingredients most of us keep on hand all the time.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

I love this dip.  It has the perfect flavor without being too spicy.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

  • 2 – 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 20 oz. canned chicken, drained and rinsed
  • 3/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Put all ingredients into a small crockpot.  Cook on high until cheeses are melted and heated through.  Stir occasionally.

Tip:  For the ranch dressing, I use Hidden Valley Ranch Buttermilk recipe.  Just make according to package directions and add one cup to dip. For the chicken; use roasted chicken instead of canned.  It adds so much to the flavor.

Serve with crackers, celery sticks, carrots, tortilla chips
