Awe … Petunias
Awe … a rain drenched green tomato
… more dill emerging – AWEEEEE!
Baby tomatoes – they were hiding!
We will now be leaving the rain forest… “can you feel the mist” as you’re leaving? Me neither.
Now we’re headed to the outback….. out back of the house. HA!
If you will notice it’s gets hotter in the outback. See the parched background. It’s blurred from the heat. Okay, not really. I’m just playing around with my camera.
Awe… what’s next? … Wine Country!
As you can see – the grapes are still green. We’ll have to check on them late summer – that’s when they’ll be ripened.
These are actually scuppernong (we call them scuppie-dines) grapes – which is a larger variety of the muscadine grapes.
They grow wild in the south – both varieties.
Awe – scuppie-dines …
The next Awe of Summer to which I haven’t seen any, yet – are lightening bugs.
Oh wait – I have to remind myself. It’s 95 degrees in the shade. Summer doesn’t “officially” get here until June 21st. *gasp*
All I can say is…. AWE! I’m glad to be back under the A/C in the house writing and uploading pictures for you to see.
UPDATE *I will be keeping an eyeout for lightening bugs … I heard through the grapevine ( no pun intended), that they are out there, already. =)*
